we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Spanish Civil
War and commemorate the brave men from Merseyside who gave their lives
in the struggle for democracy in Spain.
The Rededication of the Plaque at
The Peoples Centre
was performed by Jack Jones exactly 21 years to the day that this plaque
was unveiled on 16th November 1985
